Southeastern Palms Southeastern Palms (formerly Rhapidophyllum) is the quarterly journal of the Southeastern Palm Society. Included with SPS membership, Southeastern Palms features articles about palms and other extraordinary native and exotic subtropical plants for the Southeastern United States, news about society happenings and book reviews. Articles represent a mix of plant profiles and backyard reports and are written by members describing their own experiences. Southeastern Palms is a 5 x 8˝ inch booklet, typically contains 20 to 24 pages, and features many color photos. Publication times are March (spring issue), June (summer issue), September (fall issue) and December (winter issue).
